Why we ask for Personal Info
We understand that sharing personal details like your real name or birthday can feel sensitive — and we take that seriously. Cebu FurSoc only collects what’s necessary to ensure safe, accountable, and respectful participation in our events and projects.
We collect limited personal information from attendees and contributors to ensure the safety, accountability, and integrity of our community. Verified details such as name and age allow us to confirm whether participants are under 18 for legal and content‑safety reasons, and maintain due diligence in working only with individuals we know and trust. This practice protects our community, intellectual property and shared creative spaces while enabling responsible event administration.
We keep all submitted information confidential and secure, and we’re always open to feedback on how to make our forms clearer and more comfortable to fill out.
What ID do you accept?
For your ID to be accepted for claiming your badges, it must:
- Have an expiry date no earlier than the day you obtain your pass
- Have your photograph
- Have your date of birth
- Have your legal name
- Be one of the following:
- A Passport
- A Validated Philippine Student ID card
- A Philippine Driver's Licence
- A Philippine National ID. This includes the digital version on the eGovPH App.
- A Philippine Government-Issued ID
We will NOT accept:
- Work ID cards/passes
- International Drivers' Licences
- A photograph of your ID on your phone/tablet/electronic device or printed out
- Other forms of identification without your photograph
- Vanity ID cards
- Fraudulent ID's
- Someone else's ID
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid ID with you when registering or buying passes.
Will On The Day (OTD) Rego be available?
For cupsleeve events, OTD rego is not guaranteed due to the nature of producing inclusion sets and limited capacity. This may only be announced after online rego has closed.
For other events, limited OTD rego will be available to purchase on the day of the event, unless we have sold out to capacity, or we disclaim that we cannot provide day passes. Save yourself a bit of cash to spend at the dealers den, and get your rego in early!
