General Content Licence
Section 1 — Definitions
- “You” / “Your” = the artist or community member submitting or creating Content.
- “We” / “Us” / “Our” = Cebu Furry Society, including its organizers, representatives, affiliates, and authorized partners.
- “Content” = any artwork, audio, photos, videos, or creative works You submit or display.
- “Mascots” / “Lore” = Our official mascots, characters, names, and stories, which remain Our exclusive property.
Section 2 — Rights Granted
By creating Content, You grant Us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence (with the right to sublicence) to:
- Use, copy, reproduce, publish, transmit, display, upload, download, and distribute Your Content.
- Curate, transform, and adapt Your Content for event branding, lore development, and promotional materials.
- Make Your Content available to ecosystem partners for syndication, broadcast, distribution, repost, promotion, or publication.
This licence authorizes Us to make Your Content available to the rest of the world and to let others do the same, provided that adaptations are shared under the same licence terms.
Section 3 — Artist Rights
- Ownership: You retain full copyright and ownership of Your Content.
- Attribution: You must be credited as the original artist whenever Your Content is displayed, redistributed, or published.
- Integrity: Your Content must not be misrepresented, distorted, or used in a way that harms Your reputation.
- Recognition: You have the right to be acknowledged for Your creative contributions, even when remixed.
- Waiver: You may waive attribution requirements for specific uses, but only in writing.
Section 4 — Community Use
Community members may remix, adapt, and share Your Content, provided that:
- Attribution is given to You as the original artist.
- Any adaptations are licenced under the same terms as this licence (ShareAlike).
- Fan‑made items must be presented and marketed as fan‑made. This applies to product listings, sales tables, and shop descriptions, but does not require labels on the artwork itself.
Section 5 — Sales of Fan‑Made Merchandise
We permit limited sales of fan‑made merchandise under the following conditions:
Permitted Merchandise Types:
- Paper goods: stickers, postcards, posters, prints, bookmarks, zines, sketchbooks.
- Small accessories: enamel pins, buttons, charms, keychains.
Cost‑Only Sales: Items may only be sold at cost to cover production expenses, with no profit margin.
Restricted Merchandise Types:
- Clothing & apparel: t‑shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats, socks, scarves.
- Plush & toys: stuffed animals, figurines, dolls, collectible toys.
- Full product lineups: coordinated sets (e.g., mugs, bags, stationery kits, bundled collections).
- Household goods: mugs, tumblers, water bottles, tote bags, pillows, blankets.
- Event‑scale merchandise: anything intended for mass retail, sponsorship campaigns, or official convention sales.
- Any other merchandise types not specified in the Permitted Merchandise Types.
Proposal Requirement:
If You would like to create and sell merchandise falling into the Restricted Merchandise Types, please submit a proposal to for review and written approval.
Section 6 — Reserved Rights
- We retain all rights, title, and interest in Our Mascots, Lore, and branding.
- We retain exclusive rights to use Content featuring Our Mascots for commercial purposes, including merchandise, sponsorships, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- You may not commercially exploit Our Mascots or Lore without Our explicit written permission.
Section 7 — Modification and Adaptation
You understand that We may modify or adapt Your Content as it is distributed, syndicated, published, or broadcast by Us and Our partners, including changes to adapt the Content to different media formats.
Section 8 — Warranties
You represent and warrant that You have, or have obtained, all rights, licences, consents, permissions, and authority necessary to grant the rights described herein for any Content You create. You warrant that such Content does not contain material subject to copyright or other proprietary rights unless You have obtained the necessary permissions.
Section 9 — Enforcement
We maintain rules for how partners and community members can interact with Content on Our platforms. These rules exist to enable an open ecosystem with Your rights in mind, while protecting Our Mascots and Lore. We reserve the right to enforce these terms, including restricting or removing Content that violates them.
